What’s the update on Hero’s Tale

Shame, shame and another shame on me bloggers and followers. I let a whole week pass without blogging agh Dx.

I didn’t want to tell you all the bad news but I have decided to give up on writing and publishing. There’s so much work and I’m just not as in love with this as I thought. Recently I’ve found myself passionate about baking.

Ok the joke’s over. I’m joking. Writing Is my life xD! There’s no way if give up and especially not now. I’m SUPER close to publishing. There’s just been a few factors slowing the progress. My first submission had a few problems, mainly with my gutter and margins.

I had to resize it yet again and went through it for a space check. Whenever I adjust gutter, footer, header or even the indent spacings, the entire document gets altered and sometimes weird spaces get made. So I spent a few days on that.

The major thing that has slowed me down is my lack of internet access at home. My laptop’s web browser is outdated and my desktop is basically fried. So I’ve been doing everything from my college campus. With my work schedule, there are times when I’m not able to stay long. However, I have finished my adjustments with Hero’s Tale’s format so my resubmission will take place tomorrow or Tuesday. We’ll see how that goes.

I don’t know if I’ve told you guys but I rehired my first editor then fired her literally within the week. Things got pretty bad between us and I had to cut off all communications and block her virtually on everything. But now I’ve gotten someone new on board; welcome aboard Savannah :).

She will be helping me choose my next couple of projects for publishing, along with editing and revising my manuscripts. Savannah is a bit more outspoken and hardcore so I’m looking forward to working with her.

Speaking of projects, I think I’ve finally picked my next book to finish and publish this year. The plan is to get two singles finished this year; self publish one and send the other to a publish house. After that, I will start working on my first trilogy.

I’ll be trying to update each day this week. I’ve got to get some z’s, so I’ll update you with my resubmission tomorrow hopefully.

I love this! If you LOVE romance or love to read in general FOLLOW THIS BLOG. Seriously, I follow back always and who doesn’t like mutual support? I’ve seen reviewers too. FOLLOW. Because I will need people to critique my books, good or bad, doesn’t matter. Some help is better than none at all. I’ll keep you guys updated. Thanks to all that follow me. If you have a fan page, I’ll be sure to follow you. Thanks followers 🙂 Keep writing and blogging

  1. Oh wow i wasn’t aware that you had to rid yourself of the first editor, I am sorry to hear that. I hope all goes well with the publication process because I am really eager to own a copy of your books and place them upon my shelves 😀

    1. Thanks! And don’t worry about the last editor. It was bound to happen. I’m just now starting this whole thing off so I didn’t have my hopes up on having the “perfect” team when I started out. I knew some would stay and others would go.

My first editor was the first. The good news is that I have a new and more practical editor this time around. So we’ll see how that goes. Check out my latest update. I’m posting within 10 minutes.
