My blog’s first award!

Now this is exciting. Thank you so much to Chelsea Triola for nominating me for the Liebster Award. I just learned how to actually accept these awards so it’s pretty exciting. I’ll begin with the ten questions I’ve been asked. Then I will name my nominees :D. Apparently this award helps new blogs get more traffic flow through pingbacks and links. Exciting

The rules are as follows:

  • Each nominee must link back the person who nominated them.
  • Answer the 10 questions which are given to you by the nominator.
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers.
  • Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
  • Let the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and notifying them

Answers to Nominator’s questions.

1.) I started blogging as a means to get my self out into the world of novelists. I blog weekly maybe 3-4 times but I try to do it daily. My goal here is to get known, meet other writers and have fun doing what I love to do; Share my stories.

2.) My advice for new bloggers is to know your audience and just become a frequent poster. Post about things that you’re passionate about. Then browse the site for similar blogs, add people and make comments. Get to know who you add by reading their bio, ask questions and like posts. I’ve had this page for about 4 weeks and I have close to 100 followers with this site alone. 200 if you include my twitter. And I think it’s mainly because I do the things that I just mentioned. Just get dedicated and have fun 🙂

3.)I have never traveled outside of the U.S. But I’ve been to different states. I can’t remember what the first was. But the most memorable one would be Florida.

4.) I haven’t traveled outside of the states so I can’t recommend any places beyond the borders of the U.S. However I’ve been around this country and I would recommend anyone to visit Florida for their beaches and of course Disney World. I’ve been 4 times and it never gets old. I would also recommended coming to Indiana and try some frozen yogurt at one of our Huddles. We only have two in the whole world and they’re right here in Indy. If you pick the right one, you might get to visit a future author.

5.) Sadly, I have never been to a concert.

6.)I would definitely choose being  a writer as a career that would fall into my lap easily. Although without the handwork and effort I put in it, I don’t think it would be as fun. I think the best jobs are the ones that pushes us to do better while at the same time give us a thrill and joy.

7.)I was 17 when I got my first job. I was a sells rep for this business that sold fancy cutlery. I got the job as a way to learn how to be outgoing with new people. I had to show the dinnerware to potential customers. It paid 12.50 per appointment. Once school started I had to quit though. The schedule was messing with my schooling.

8.)This is a tough question. I see myself settling in this country and raising a family in my future. So I don’t exactly need to leave it. But I do want to explore different parts of the world and see what’s out there beyond North America. So I’d take the little money and travel.

9.)My favorite quote would have to be; “You can never fail if you never give up” I’m not sure who said this, but I live by that philosophy and it’s very true to many things in life, including publishing a book.

10.) I would like to write for the IndyStar IF, I had to write for any newspaper.

Now for my Nominees, **drum roll**(It is up to you if you would like to accept the award or not and answer the questions that follow.)

6.)VictorySkunkhand

7.)Ankita2112

  1. Awww….thank you so much…this is actually my second award this week…and I am going to nominate you for the Sunshine Award :D. Which was the other award I was giving. So I’ll be writing a post later today if I can.

      1. I have been. I finally decided to post one of my little writings…check it out if you want 😀

    1. I can tell you. I didn’t know how to either. The page pretty much walks you through it.

Make a new post and kinda piggyback off of what I wrote. Answer my questions, ask nominees questions.

To link back, go to my home page and copy the link. Make a hyperlink in your post when you mention me(that’s what I did)

And do the same for your nominees. I picked ten but you can choose less. And just copy and paste the image of the award and put it somewhere in your post. I can help you more if you need it

      1. Yeah, the girl who nominated me only nominated 5. I think you’ll be fine. If not, just nominate someone who you don’t follow. There’s plenty of new bloggers out there 🙂 I need to check your page for your nice updates
